As we celebrate July 4th, talking fireworks on the football field makes sense

As we celebrate Independence Day in America, fireworks are one of many staples. If you are a part of any local community social media sites, fireworks can often be an interesting discussion as some love them, some think they are pointless and others have reasons to hate them.

On the football field, fireworks are exciting if it is your team. For the Cleveland Browns, even in the down years, there were always a few memorable exciting plays. Whether it was Josh Cribbs up the middle, Eric Metcalf’s amazing runs, Tim Couch’s Hail Mary to Kevin Johnson, Josh Gordon’s and Terrelle Pryor’s random huge seasons, Jerome Harrison’s amazing three-game stretch in 2009 and many others.

Thankfully, the Browns have gotten better on the field where highlights are not the only good part of the season. We also know we have readers from all ends of the age spectrum who have had some amazing experiences with their team that they will remember forever. Some might be found in this video.

There are some great calls from Jim Donovan in 2018 in this video:

You can also watch all of Cribbs’ return touchdowns here.

What are your memories of Browns fireworks? What play stands out in your memory that you love to talk about with friends, coworkers and family?
