Chris Jericho was an extremely important part of Smackdown over the course of its history. As such, being that he has a good working relationship with the company, it came as somewhat of a surprise that he didn’t appear on the show.
When a fan on Twitter lamented that he wished Jericho had been there, Jericho responded with the reason why he wasn’t. Apparently, he wasn’t asked.
