After a wild-back-and forth showdown, Jericho would lock challenger Cody Rhodes in the Liontamer in the center of the ring for an extended period. MJF, who was in the American Nightmare’s corner, couldn’t bare to watch his friend suffer, and tossed in the towel giving Jericho the victory.

Post match, MJF would face Cody as if to say he was sorry, then hit a low-blow screaming “It’s my time.” As he exited, a fan in he Royal Farms Arena would throw a full beer onto MFJ as he smiled during his exit.
