CM Punk made some interesting comments this morning after the lawsuit he was involved in with Colt Cabana was settled. In a series of tweets, Punk mentioned that it was Cabana’s decision to end the lawsuit. He adds that there was an easier way for Cabana to get his money without a lawsuit.

I loved the guy. Would’ve done anything for him. And the irony is, if he just would’ve asked for the money, I’d have given it to him. Instead he tried to extort me.

Someone else commented that he was sad to see a good friendship end over money, and Punk replied “I agree.” Colt Cabana has declined to comment, but in regards to the lawsuit, his attorney simply responded: “Settled.”
