Former WWE Champion CM Punk recently appeared on Sportsnet’s 31 Thoughts podcast and revealed that he will be getting a tattoo to memorialize WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race, who had a big impact on Punk’s career.
Punk did not name names but said he would soon be getting the Race tattoo along with two other people who were close with “Mad Dog” Race.
Punk has three sports-related tattoos as of now – the NHL Stanley Cup for the Chicago Blackhawks, a goat that he got after the Chicago Cubs won the MLB World Series, and a wrestling boot of Japanese legend Mitsuharu Misawa, who passed away in 2009.
Race passed away back on August 1 after a battle with lung cancer. He was 76.
Punk also told stories about Race and talked about how Harley had an impact on his career, and discussed other times in his WWE/MMA runs during the interview, which you can see embedded above.
