AEW VP Cody Rhodes took a shot at the WWE at his recent Starrcast panel with the Young Bucks, where the American Nightmare criticized the new 24/7 championship that was unveiled by Mick Foley last Monday. Rhodes admits that he felt bad for Foley before poking fun at the belt’s poor design. The Young Bucks would jump in to claim that the titles in AEW will actually look good.
CODY RHODES: Let’s be fair. We all love Mick Foley. Everyone loves Mick Foley right? (Crowd cheers). What a bad…I felt so bad. He’s standing out there. He’s a living legend. What the f**k was he holding? Like no thought. No thought went into that. Like what is it? It’s 24/7. So what do you put on it? 24/7. Like no thought!
MATT JACKSON: And you know what…here’s another thing…our titles are gonna look good.
