Corey Graves was very active on Twitter this evening, commenting on former NXT coach Bill DeMott, and his firing back in 2015 due to allegations of misconduct during his time as a trainer. Graves states that he considered DeMott’s method to have been “motivating” before taking a shot at the sensitive adults who now get paid to train.
I’m not really old enough to claim “back in my day,” but what I remember as “coaching” or “motivation” is now considered “bullying.”
I turned out just fine. And my kids are probably tougher than yours.
Can you please pass the blue crayon for these adult coloring books?

I still stand by @BillDeMott. We weren’t always best friends, but there was no malice whatsoever.
It wasn’t until people started complaining that getting PAID TO TRAIN was too hard for them, that it became an issue.

Graves would then engage with a number of users who jabbed at his comments, and questioned his reasoning by talking about his time when he was on public assistance.
I’m not sorry for anything.
I once had an ACCESS card.
I had public assistance.
But never ONCE, did I blame anybody for my problems or shortcomings but myself.
And I did better.
So before you continue your “triggered Twitter campaign” do your ****ing homework.
