Easily one of the biggest current stories in all news cycles is the disturbing disappearance and murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi by the Saudi government. The WWE has been able to slip under the radar (for the most part) in regards to their massive event deal with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that includes returning to Saudi Arabia on November 2nd for Crown Jewel. Many speculated that the WWE may pull out of the event after a brief mention on John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight, and a slew of pressure from U.S. Senators.
Now, WrestleVotes is claiming that after all is said and done…WWE will continue with their contract
Hearing that plans will remain intact for Crown Jewel. The event will indeed take place as scheduled, in Saudi Arabia on Nov 2nd.
