In a new interview with Megan Olivi, President Dana White revealed that he has extended his deal with the UFC for the next seven years in accordance with the promotion’s new distribution deal with ESPN. White also talked about current WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar’s potential return to the octagon, stating that when Lesnar wishes to fight he’s not shy of contacting him.
When that guy is ready to fight he’s not shy. He’ll call me, he’ll let me know and to be honest, I’m hoping I’m going to hear from that guy this summer.
Lesnar’s last MMA appearance was against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in 2016, when he defeated Mark Hunt by decision. The fight would later be declared a no-contest due to Lesnar testing positive for the substance clomiphene, which is a drug that blocks estrogen. Check out White’s full interview below.
