Dana White On Possibility Of Brock Lesnar Returning To UFC: “No, He’s Done” (Video)

Once again, Dana White has confirmed that Brock Lesnar will not be returning to the Octagon to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

The UFC President was asked about the possibility of “The Beast Incarnate” making a UFC return despite reports of recent failed negotiations to book a Lesnar vs. Daniel Cormier fight for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

The promotion recently announced Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic 2 for UFC 241 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on Saturday, August 17th.

With the announcement being made official and Lesnar not being D.C.’s opponent, the UFC confirmed that the Lesnar negotiations fell apart and that he would not, in fact, be making an Octagon return despite setting up the Cormier fight with a pull-apart angle inside the Octagon after his win over Miocic to capture the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 226 last July.

On Sunday morning, UFC President Dana White spoke with TMZ Sports after a successful UFC 238: Cejudo vs. Moraes event at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday night, and was once again asked about the status of the crossover WWE mega-star.

“No, he’s done,” said White regarding a potential MMA fighting return of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. “He’s made his decision.”

White added, “I don’t know where he is in that other world … I know that he was looking at doing a new deal with Vince [McMahon] to stay with the WWE.”

White would go on to elaborate, explaining his philosophy that when a fighter decides he no longer wants to fight like Brock has claimed, it’s probably wise not to put the gloves on and step inside the eight-sided cage with another trainer killer.

“You know, I’ve always had a good relationship with Brock,” said White. “We’ve always dealt really well with each other. When you decide or don’t decide to fight … it’s a decision … you mentally have to be ready to fight. You have to be all-in on fighting and if you’re not all in, than you shouldn’t fight.”

White concluded, “He made a decision and it’s the right decision.”
