WWE lead to WrestleMania 33 right now, but beyond that show, there is an interesting carrot being dangled in the faces of WWE fans.

Regular viewers of Talking Smack will have seen The Miz and Daniel Bryan come to blows on multiple occasions, and this week, Bryan appeared to tease a potential return to the ring in the future.

The Miz was mocking Bryan’s inability to wrestle following his retirement, to which Bryan responded: “I can’t or they won’t let me? We’ll see in a year-and-a-half, we’ll see what happens.”

And an interesting note or two reported this week by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc) suggested that Bryan is already eyeing up a return.

Bryan’s referral to the year-and-a-half time period is owing to how long is left on his WWE contract. And Meltzer reported that Bryan has a variety of goals in mind, including heading to CMLL at some point.
