WWE superstar Daniel Bryan issued a short statement on social media commending former WWE champion Kofi Kingston for giving him a “career moment” at last April’s WrestleMania. Bryan admtis that he’s sad Kingston’s title reign ended the way he did (Brock Lesnar squashed him in under 10 seconds) but reminds the New Day member that he once lost a championship match in 18 seconds, and it motivated to become the top company man he is now.
#ThankYouKofi for giving me one my favorite career moments. Sad to see his reign end the way it did. I lost my first WHC in 18 seconds, and came away more determined (and angry!) because of it. I’m sure @TrueKofi will do the same. Respect… Always. BUT #StillMadYouBeatMe
