During EC3’s appearance on “A Moment of Bliss” several weeks back, Dean Ambrose confronted him and asked him a series of rapid fire questions. The most interesting of those questions occurred when Ambrose asked him “Who is EC1 and EC2?”. It became a joke on social media and now it appears that EC3 himself has joined in on the fun.
He took to Twitter and answered that very question. He posted two pictures of John Cena during his earliest days with a caption of “EC1 and EC2” below each, alongside a picture of himself. He captioned it “I’m the prototype of memes” – a nod to Cena’s gimmick in his pre-WWE days:
