How much is the EWC Prize Pool? For all but two events, the announced prize pools for each game are at the very least 7 digits! The money involved is no joke, so there’s a lot to play for in the 2024 Esports World Cup.
The tournament this year will be taking place in Saudi Arabia.

EWC Prize Pool
The tagline for their prize pool announcements is “Life-Changing Prize Money”. And they certainly aren’t wrong. It will have the largest combined prize pool in esports history at over $60million!
For those that are able to compete, placing well in this tournament could be where the majority of their career esports earnings may stem from.
The esports World Cup prize pool starts at $1,000,000 for most of the games. For the team games, there’s games of all different genres.
It should be noted that some events at the time of writing do not have their event rosters and prize pools announced.
The standout games are Teamfight Tactics and the Women’s Mobile Legends Bang Bang tournament not having the full 1 million dollar prize pool.
However, the event running in Saudi Arabia is a step forward for inclusivity in esports within the country.

Club Championship
Alongside the competitions in the games, there will also be a Club Competition for participating esports organizations that are a part of the EWC Club Program. It is a cross-game tournament within the EWC. The total prize money pool is a hefty $20,000,000, that will be distributed among the top 16 teams.
How does it work you ask? In order to qualify for it, a club (organization) must finish in top 8 in at least two competitions. However, winning the Club Championship means that the club must be top1 in at least one competition. Only participants publicly announced as members of their respective organizations before June 14, 2024, are eligible to earn points for their club.
