Dan Ige and Diego Lopes are making history.
With Brian Ortega ruled too sick to compete in UFC 303‘s co-main event, Las Vegas resident Ige stepped in off the couch to face Lopes in a 165-pound catchweight bout on just hours’ notice. It’s an unprecedented move, the first ever in UFC history, as Ige wasn’t even scheduled to compete at UFC 303.
