According to the Wrestling Observer, FOX is preparing to go all-out for the SmackDown premiere on Friday on October 4th, with reports of the show having a “major league” feel, almost as if they were promoting a big boxing match. A reason the debut was set for the Staples Center in Los Angeles was so that WWE could invite a ton of celebrities to give the show importance, especially with AEW’s weekly show possibly premiering the very same week. FOX is also testing out two new cameras to be used for the event, with the idea being to capture the action the same way one would film a sporting event.
