Kittle’s fourth annual Tight End University biggest success yet
“It’s kind of taken on a life of its own which is really fun,” Kittle told NBC Sports Bay Area. “It started off as ‘let’s get 15-20 guys,’ which ended up being 50 at a high school. Now we are at Vanderbilt University, still in Nashville. 70-80 guys the last three years it’s been awesome.”
49ers revamped TE room full of question marks going into training camp
“The 49ers won’t show their entire hand in the portions of camp open to media. We should get at least an idea of how they play to deploy their new TE room and whether there will be more multi-TE stuff by what kind of reps they get in camp. If we see Thomas or one of the other TEs getting significant burn with the first team, it may be a sign that one of the reserve TEs will be getting work with that group at some point(s) during the regular season.”
