During an interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge’s Bill Apter, pro wrestling legend Hulk Hogan was asked to share his thoughts on Raw star Bron Breakker. Hogan responded with just about the highest praise possible for Rick Steiner’s son:
“He’s something else. He’s wise beyond his years. Number one, to be that intense and to know the red light’s on and to be able to stay in that zone. It’s very impressive, so if they do the right thing with him that could be your next Stone Cold, The Rock, or Hulk Hogan. He could be the guy.”
Hogan continued on by saying Bron has the “extra spice” needed to be the face of WWE:
“He’s just got that extra spice. [Goldberg] had a certain thing, I had a certain thing, The Rock had a certain thing. Bron Breakker has all of the above, plus he’s got a little extra spice on his plate. I mean, he’s ramped it up, and he’s just getting started. I can’t even imagine what’s gonna happen when he really figures it out.”
There are enough generalities, cliches, and vague statements in there for me to not be sure that Hulk Hogan has actually watched Bron Breakker wrestle a full match in WWE. But maybe I’m just conditioned to always be skeptical about whatever comes out of Hulk Hogan’s mouth, and his analysis happens to be right on the money this time.
