Recently reinstated WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan spoke with the folks from The Tampa Bay Times after appearing at the WWE press conference in the city earlier this week to formally announce WrestleMania 36 for April 5, 2020 at Raymond James Stadium.

During the interview, “The Hulkster” was asked about his current WWE status after appearing at the aforementioned WrestleMania 36 press conference, as well as the WWE RAW tribute show to late WWE Hall Of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund, and the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia last November.

According to Hogan, not only will he be back soon, but he hopes to be “really, really active.”

“I’m not really sure,” Hogan stated. “I can’t wrestle anymore because [I’ve had] nine back surgeries, two fake knees, two fake hips [and] I’ve had 17 surgeries in the last ten years.”

Hogan jokingly added, “I kind of missed the memo on the ‘fake’ part [of the pro wrestling business].”

Getting back on track and talking about his current status with WWE, Hogan pointed out that it all depends on Vince McMahon, but noted that he is happy being used in any role that the longtime WWE Chairman sees fit.

“Vince [McMahon] has this master plan,” Hogan said. “I don’t mind being the hood ornament and I don’t mind being the Babe Ruth of the promotion, but Vince is putting together a whole new thing. I still feel like I’m 20 in my head, but my body’s telling me, ‘Easy, brother.’”

Hogan concluded, “I’m not sure what the title is, but hopefully really soon I’ll be back and really, really active.”
