It looks like Hangman Page is returning to AEW

on

Hangman Adam Page hasn’t been seen in AEW in almost four months, but the rumor mill indicates he’ll be back by early July.

Early July happens to be here in a couple of days, and wouldn’t you know it, the following video for Hangman aired on tonight’s (June 29) episode of Collision:

The video instantly reminds fans of Hangman’s deep personal issues with current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, as well as Hangman being suspended from The Elite by EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.

There’s been a lot of fan speculation that Hangman will be revealed as the Wild Card entry in the men’s Owen Hart Tournament; Wild Card has a first round match against Jeff Jarrett on next Wednesday’s (July 3) Beach Break episode of Dynamite.

If that turns out to be the case, then a tournament win for Hangman could lead him right back into a world title match with Swerve at London’s Wembley Stadium for All In. The Elite says the Wild card is their personal pick, so Hangman will presumably have to be reinstated by The Elite for this to be possible.

If Hangman doesn’t end up as the Wild Card and has nothing to do with The Elite when he returns, well, then it’s not clear at all what’s waiting for him next in AEW.

What’s your reaction to this video for Hangman Page, Cagesiders?
