– J Sports in Japan has announced that the English version of WWE SmackDown will begin airing during Saturday mornings on October 5 at 9am.

They noted that this will make the show “easier to see” for viewers and said the change is due to SmackDown moving to Fox Friday nights in the United States. The subtitled version will now air at 6pm the following Friday and the highlights show will air at 10pm the following Friday. SmackDown currently airs on Wednesday mornings in Japan.

– Triple H has announced another WWE NXT Road Trip live event tour for Oregon, Washington and British Columbia in October.

Superstars being advertised are NXT Champion Adam Cole and the rest of The Undisputed Era, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, NXT North American Champion The Velveteen Dream, Io Shirai, Matt Riddle, Bianca Belair, Tyler Breeze, and Mia Yim.

NXT heads to Oregon, Washington state and British Columbia this October

Get ready, NXT fans in the Pacific Northwest: The gold standard in sports-entertainment is headed your way.

As announced by Triple H on Twitter, NXT will tour Oregon, Washington state and British Columbia this October.

The road trip begins with a Live Event on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland. NXT will then take over the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Friday, Oct. 18. From there, the black-and-gold brand heads to Canada with a Live Event at the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver on Saturday, Oct. 19, before wrapping up its road trip on Sunday, Oct. 20, at Prospera Place in Kelowna, B.C.

Featured Superstars will include NXT Champion Adam Cole and The Undisputed ERA, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream, Io Shirai, Matt Riddle, Bianca Belair, Tyler Breeze, Mia Yim and many more.

Tickets for all four events will be available at NXTtickets.com starting this Friday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. local time.
