James Storm was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio. During the appearance, he revealed that while he has once again found his love for wrestling, there was a period of time where he had fallen out of love with it. It occurred during his stay with TNA. Storm revealed that a scary incident involving his daughter penning a suicide note made him realize that he needed to be home with his family more. He went onto detail where his head was at and why he wished that he could have left TNA earlier than he did. Here are the highlights:

Weird story, I wish I would have left five years earlier, because I feel like I kind of overstayed my welcome…I was just there, it felt like they just didn’t have anything for me.

The very last show of TNA, I was getting ready to go out on stage and my phone rang, and it was my little girls mom, and I answered it, she goes ‘Hey, just to let you know I found a suicide note from our daughter in her backpack’. I’m bawling, my eyes are swelling…when I’m coming down the ramp, I got my head down, I just get right in the ring, go right to it.”

Storm said that after he spoke with his daughter, he realized he needed to be with his family more, and fell out of wrestling as a result. “You got to that point where it just kind of seem like it just flat lined. Recently, the last two years, I kind of fell back in love with wrestling, traveling the world and seeing the fans.
