Official information for this year’s WWE Royal Rumble is sparse, but rumors for this year’s highly awaited event are spiraling. With the forthcoming 30-man match, wrestling fans are hoping for their favorite wrestlers to win the title. But one name seems to be the crowd favorite — John Cena. Will he come out as the victor this year?

Royal Rumble is an opportunity for 30 pro wrestlers to win a match, which will pave way for a spot in Wrestlemania. The event will be held in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

According to The Sun, Royal Rumble 2017 will see one of the most competitive matches expected to occur this year, one between Goldberg and Brock “The Beast Incarnate” Lesnar. The Beast is reportedly thirsting for blood, seeking revenge for his devastating loss in last year’s Survivor Series. In the squash match of the Survivor Series, Goldberg destroyed Lesnar in the ring. It only took him about 2 minutes to defeat Lesnar. That was his second win over Lesnar. The first was at Goldberg’s last match at Wrestlemania, which was back in 2003.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns will be challenging Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship. Reigns was expected to win the title, but Chris Jericho somehow showed up and gave his best friend a hand.

According to The Inquisitr, news outlets are chanting various names as winners for the upcoming matches. The publication reiterates a rumor that suggests that John Cena will come out as the WWE World Heavyweight winner at the end of the Elimination Chamber. Joe, on the other hand, will come out as the victor of the 2017 Royal Rumble match.
