A couple weeks ago on Last Week Tonight, John Oliver dissected the WWE’s possible decision to run Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia (considering the tragic murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was getting mainstream attention) despite pushback from U.S. officials, and even spliced together a video of their worst propaganda plugs from April’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah. Since then, WWE announced they would be moving forward with the show, listing “contractual obligations” as their primary reason.

Last night, John Oliver produced another segment criticizing the WWE, and even put together a new promo for Crown Jewel that calls the company out for agreeing to not allow any women to perform on the show, and references Khashoggi’s gruesome murder.
