AEW Executive Vice President Kenny Omega is your new AAA Mega Champion.
Omega defeated Rey Fenix for the title at last night’s AAA Heroes Inmortales XIII event from the Coliseo in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. The match was made after Omega challenged Fenix back at AAA’s TripleMania event in August.
After the match, Fenix, who is also on the AEW roster, tried to shake Omega’s hand but the new champion refused.
AAA and AEW have a working relationship. There’s no word yet on Omega’s first title defense, or if he will use the title on AEW TV.
