On today’s episode of “Busted Open Radio”, Mark Henry discussed the debuts of Aleister Black, Ricochet, Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano. More specifically, he praised Ricochet and Black but took issue with how Ciampa and Gargano were used. Here are the highlights:

On Ricochet:

I think that the biggest success was Ricochet. He made a really good impression, he came across as someone you’d want to get behind and the action was nonstop. He got to actually show what he could do against a guy on the small, technical side and a big guy that’s a monster. It was a lot of versatility in both his offense and defense.

On Aleister Black:

That entrance is Brood-like, Undertaker-like. It’s one that we’ll get behind years to come.

On Not Liking How Gargano & Ciampa Were Used:

You want to see people and say it in their own words. To come across as if you met them in the streets, it didn’t do that. I’ve met Ciampa and Gargano, that is not who they are. Ciampa came across as if he was docile! What the hell is this? Who is this guy? That’s not Ciampa. He’s got to go out and be Hannibal Lecter like he is on NXT. That’s the guy I want to see.
