At last night’s SmackDown house show in Minneapolis, former cruiserweight Mustafa Ali made his return to action to face WWE champion Daniel Bryan.

Ali missed WWE’s recent pay per view Elimination Chamber due to a number of nagging injuries, and would be replaced by New Day’s Kofi Kingston.

At MLW’s Intimidation Games, WWE hall of famer Jim Cornette was announced as the evening’s special guest color-commentator. Cornette joined MLW regular Rich Boccini for the live broadcast that aired on beIN sports, as well as the next round of tapings for their weekly show Fusion.
