Former WWE superstar MVP took to Twitter to respond to speculation that he no longer held the WWE in high regard. In his Tweet, MVP stated that he does not hate the WWE as the company gave him a chance when the rest of society wouldn’t. MVP went onto add that when the relationship no longer made sense, he asked for his release and was granted it:
I don't "hate" WWE. I made a LOT of money there. When society wouldn't let me earn minimum wage, Vince gave me a chance to become a globally known wrestling star. Changed my life.
When I was unhappy with the working environment I asked for my release and they obliged. 🤷🏾♂️— MVP (@The305MVP) June 5, 2019
