Naomi Osaka qualified for the second round of Wimbledon after a thrilling match against Frenchwoman Diane Parry. The Japanese tennis player settled the dispute in the third set, beating her rival with a final score of 6-1 1-6 6-4, giving herself the second round against American Emma Navarro.

At the press conference after the match, Naomi talked about some interesting topics, such as seeing more children on Tour with their mothers and, at the same time, seeing more play areas for children appear within tournaments. A journalist asked Osaka if she thinks tennis and tournaments like Wimbledon are welcoming places for new mothers.
“I see a lot more kids on tour now. It’s something very lovely and very reassuring. I hope other parents feel the same way. I think every time I go to tournaments there’s a little play area for kids. I think they’re considering it,” she explained

Also at the press conference, the Japanese said that the three players she would like to have dinner with are Li Na, Andre Agassi and Maria Sharapova.

“It can be friendly a friendly match, it can be anything you want. I like Li Na’s sense of humor. I remember watching so many court interviews, any kind of interview from her. I really think she’s one of the best,” she said.
