New Biomes Set to Arrive in Fortnite LEGO

on

Fortnite LEGO is set to get a major update. The new mode debuted in Chapter 5 Season 1, but it has been anything but an afterthought. Though Epic Games introduced two fully-fledged new game modes alongside both Battle Royale and Zero Build (as well as Creative), the developers have been pretty devoted to all modes. None of the modes have been ignored or left behind in terms of updates and new content. That includes the LEGO mode, which is set to get another massive patch soon.

Fortnite LEGO to Get New Biomes

Fortnite LEGO has been compared to Minecraft. It’s a survival game with building and a lot of other aspects that the hit sandbox game utilizes. It just didn’t really have the variety that other games like it had, but that is changing.

In the next major update to the LEGO mode, Epic Games is reportedly including new biomes for players to explore. These include the Jungle and the Mountains. There’s currently plenty to explore in LEGO Fortnite worlds, but the variety is always a welcome sight.

If this game mode is to survive, they may have to emulate Minecraft and introduce biomes periodically. There are certainly a lot more to choose from than are currently in the game (or planned) which could significantly extend the shelf life of this game mode in Fortnite.

The leak that revealed this plan did not have a timetable. There is no indication of when these new biomes will be added, just that Epic is working on them currently. The evidence was uncovered within the game files, with several new tags for the Jungle and Mountain being added to items for the game mode. If they are in the game files, they are all but assured of one day being in the game, but we don’t know when that will be. Until that happens or Epic Games confirms the changes, though, this information should be treated as speculative, like other leaks that have surfaced.
