Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets are being sued by an ex-employee of the team who insists he created the logo the team used during the seventies – and have currently reverted back towards. While the Jets issued a statement that the claim was baseless, the team actually did a feature with the employee back in April about him actually creating the logo. So, it may not be as baseless as the Jets want it to be seen as. With that said, the timing is interesting, considering the logo has been in use for fifty years. At the same time, Woody Johnson isn’t exactly the most likeable person in the world, so I can understand the employee’s point of view as well – perhaps there being a rift which caused him to take this action. Whatever the case, it was only a matter of time before the Jets were back in the headlines over something trivial. With that, here are your links to the team to start your morning.
