– As of today, Asuka’s reign as NXT Women’s Champion has surpassed the New Day’s record as the longest-reigning team to hold the WWE Raw Tag Team Title at 483 days.  Only one milestone remains on her road to making all-time WWE history. On August 17th, she will surpass Rockin’ Robin as the longest reigning WWF Women’s Champion at 502 days.

Once she accomplishes this, she will officially become the longest-reigning WWE champion of any kind in history, other than the years-long title reigns belonging to Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, and Hulk Hogan in the pre-national expansion days.
