There are plenty of good answers here, but Bears fans know who would dominate beer-pong with you.

Ah, beer pong, the game of champions.

It’s a game of strategy and skill.

Throwing dirty ping pong balls into half cups of beer and forcing others to chug said beer goes back to the royals of Europe. Royal families used to engage in beer-pong activities dressed in their Sunday’s finest upon return from the local Polo match.

Actually, I’m pretty sure it was created by some drunken frat guys in 1975.

Regardless, I would say most of us have attended a high school or college party with some beer pong tournament that drew most of the attention at that party.

We know the rules, and we know what you need, so would be the ideal beer-pong partner?

If you could choose one Chicago Bears player, past or present, as your beer-pong partner, who would you choose?

There are so many great answers here. We know those Bears teams in the 1980s could get after it. I’m sure Steve McMichael could toss a few back and not worry about struggling with those final cups of beer. I’m sure Jim McMahon would be a selection of plenty. We know guys like Kyle Long and Mitch Trubisky can take a beer down in a hurry (we have the video evidence to prove it!).

But there’s one man that’s donned the navy and orange in Chicago that I’d want by my side for a beer pong tournament.

My answer: You don’t just need a beer drinker, but you need someone who was a heavy beer drinker in college. Let’s be honest, having a drinker from their late 20s, they probably didn’t get a lot of beer pong practice in, but if you were a heavy drinker in college? You know that the beer pong matches were constant.

You want someone with a good arm, right? Ideally, a QB would be perfect. Let them drill ball after ball into the opponent’s cup while you reap the benefits as their partner.

What quarterback was a heavy drinker in college that you know has won himself quite a few beer-pong matchups back in the day?

Give me Kyle Orton. All. Day. Long.

For those of you who may be in your 20s and don’t know the legend of Kyle Orton. Now’s time to head over to Google Images and see the truth.

Head to Google and simply search “Kyle Orton drunk.” A treasure chest of images will pop up for you. Not just one or two, but well over a dozen.

Orton knew how to party, and he certainly didn’t care if his zest for life was documented by random folks with cameras (this was long before your phone had a camera on it).

Kyle Orton was a good Chicago Bears quarterback, but he was a legend on college campuses.

You want a beer pong champion? I present you with Kyle Orton.

What do you say Bears fans? Is Kyle Orton the Beer Pong king? Who’s your choice for your beer pong partner among Chicago Bears, past and present?
