As noted, Paige underwent surgery for a hernia on Wednesday in Phoenix, Arizona, under Dr. Juan Uribe, who previously operated on the necks of Nikki Bella and Tyson Kidd.
Paige revealed over the weekend that she missed her SummerSlam Meet & Greet and Monday’s RAW after visiting her doctor, where they discovering the hernia. The hernia was related to the career-ending neck injury that she suffered in December 2017 at the WWE live event in Uniondale, NY.
In an update, Paige took to Twitter after Wednesday’s operation and thanked Dr. Uribe and his team.
Responding to a post-surgery photo and tweet from Barrow Neurological in Phoenix, Paige wrote, “Thank you for everything!! We got treated like royalty!! My fave dr and team ever!”
Paige later posted an x-ray photo and thanked everyone for their support. She also thanked Brie Bella and her mother, makeup artist Zac Phoenix, and her boyfriend Ronnie Radke, for being there.
She wrote, “Thank you everyone for the kind words and msgs! Seriously means so much. Couldn’t thank my Dr and his team enough they treated all of us wonderfully. And big thank you to @BellaTwins @KathyColace and @itszacphoenix for stopping by & of course my babe @RonnieRadke”
