Paul Heyman confirms if Brock Lesnar will be joining UFC or staying in WWE

It’s no secret that Brock Lesnar could very well be leaving the WWE soon and re-signing with the UFC once more, but there are a couple of fans that think he is using the MMA promotion as a negotiation tactic in order to get a better contract out of WWE.

Lesnar teased a possible return to MMA back in 2015 after WrestleMania 31, but he ultimately decided to sign a new WWE contract and stay with the company for another few more years. Things could play out a lot differently though this time around.

Brock’s current WWE contract reportedly expires after WrestleMania 34 next weekend, and when it does, many expect him to announce that he’s signed a new deal with UFC. However, despite the strong reports, there are still a few doubters that don’t believe he’ll make the MMA switch.

Paul Heyman, Lesnar’s on-screen manager in the WWE, recently did an interview with Newsweek where he wanted to make sure that those people that doubted where Lesnar’s future was heading knew exactly what his situation was with UFC and WWE.

Heyman said: “I don’t think it’s any secret that Brock is looking to get back into the Octagon. He is obviously eyeballing another fight in UFC. There’s no secret. He’s posing for pictures with Dana White wearing a UFC shirt in the UFC offices in Las Vegas. That’s not a negotiating tactic, Brock Lesnar wants to compete inside of the Octagon.
