The Bruiserweight Pete Dunne posted on Instagram this morning addressing his current run as the NXT United Kingdom champion. As of this writing, Dunne has reached day 500 of his reign, dating back to when he defeated the inaugural title-holder Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover Chicago I on May 20th, 2017.

Since then, Dunne has defended his belt successfully a multitude of times against the likes of Johnny Gargano, Zack Gibson, Tyler Bate, Jordan Devlin, Noam Dar, Velveteen Dream, Ricochet, and many more both in the states and across the seas. If he holds the belt another four days (which is very likely) he will surpass Brock Lesnar’s recent Universal Title reign of 504 days.
