Sean Waltman was a recent guest on “Notsam Podcast”. During the interview, he revealed the potential for significant changes to the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. According to Waltman’s conversation with WWE brass when they let him know that he’d be inducted, the WWE is well aware of the issues with the length of the show. Waltman insinuated that not only will the speeches be shortened, but the WWE is potentially going to remove the induction speeches as well. Here is what Waltman had to say:
Some things were explained to me when [Mark] Carano broke the news to me. He told me some things are going to change about the ceremony. Obviously, there were some things that were problems at pretty much of all the Hall of Fames, but especially last year. Guys just taking their sweet time [with their speeches].
Things are gonna change. There may or may not be inductors. I mean, I’ve seen some inductors take 30 minutes to f—ing give their inductor’s speech!”
