According to Bryan Alvarez from the Wrestling Observer, the USA show Suits is the reason that NXT’s first two episodes will only run for an hour on the network, with the second hour switching to the WWE network. Reports are that the deal between WWE and USA was done so quickly that USA needed to finish airing another program before NXT could get a full-time slot. This can be attributed to WWE’s scattered attempt to give AEW competition as soon as possible.
