According to PW Insider, Brian James, better known as the “Road Dogg” Jesse James, will be taking an extended break away from the WWE following his departure from the SmackDown Live writing team. James stepped down from the position on his own accord, supposedly frustrated by his shows being rewritten at the last minute. He was not present in Montreal for WWE’s television tapings this past week, but is still listed as an active member of the company.
