– As we noted on Friday, Eva Marie and WWE mutually parted ways. Her departure was expected for months because there were reports that her contract would not be renewed.

In response to a fan, Road Dogg said: “wasn’t “our decision” to release her”.  It’s not clear what he meant by that but some might read into his tweet and assume that she was the one who asked for her release. I don’t know if that is really the case but she has been working on getting her foot in the door in Hollywood over the last few months so her time in WWE was likely limited, regardless of who made the decision to part ways.
