Roger Federer is enjoying his retirement in many ways and the last one was quite unusual on his part as he gave a very very long speech at Dartmouth University where he explained to the lucky ones present a lot about his career and all that he has overcome to reach the top of tennis.

A motivational speech that lasted 25 minutes that pass in lightning as we immerse ourselves in the memories told by the own protagonist. Federer mentions that perfection does not exist, and that he himself won only 80% of his own matches with only 54% of winning shots on average, words that simply mean that we cannot always be at the top, but with hard work and hard work, you always end up achieving your dreams.

During a long interview with Tennis365, Felix Auger-Aliassime praised 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer: “Roger was the one who could really just take out in an hour and you wouldn’t even feel you did too much wrong.
Then you look at Rafa on clay and that is the biggest challenge there is in our sport. I also love his mentality. Everybody can aspire to his kind of mentality.

We are lucky to have had all three of these great champions in our sport, but for me, I love Roger. He is just pure class, an amazing guy. On and off the court. Off the court, I’ve had a chance to talk with him at times and he has been so nice to me.”
In the documentary on the last 12 days of the former World No.1, the latter came back on several topics and the Telegraph offers us a small glimpse of what awaits us in a little more than a week. In the statements reported by the media, Roger admits not having sufficiently respected Novak Djokovic during their very first meeting: “The first time we met was in Monaco in 2006 and I remember leaving the court saying he played well, but I wasn’t completely convinced.”
