Voices of Wrestling‘s Joe Lanza has reported that former MLW Heavyweight champion Shane Stickland has decided to sign with the WWE. Lanza states that after Strickland announced that he was “weighing different options” during his free agency, WWE came back and doubled their original offer, which was too good for Strickland to pass up. No official word on the signing yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

Besides MLW, Strickland wrestled under the moniker “Killshot” for Lucha Underground, where he lost a mask versus mask bout against Son of Havoc at Ultima Lucha Cuatro. He is also known for his work in EVOLVE, CZW, and is the current PCW Ultra Heavyweight champion.
