With Survivor Series less than two months away, speculation is starting to abound regarding what the card will look like. While no matches have been officially announced, Wrestle Votes Twitter account is reporting that a traditional Survivor Series Match between a team captained by Kurt Angle and a team captained by Baron Corbin is in the works. The idea behind the match is that the captain of the winning team will be the General Manager going forward.

While Survivor Series has focused on the Raw v Smackdown theme over the past two years, this match would indicate a shift away from the dueling brand concept and put more of the focus on the storylines happening on each individual entity.

Hearing that Survivor Series won’t be focused to much, if at all, on RAW vs SmackDown this year. Good chance at a Team Corbin vs Team Angle matchup for RAW control.
