- Dave Meltzer said he thinks there’s a good chance Paige could be done with WWE – “the fact that that story is out tells me that she is probably done with the company”.
- Despite a second suspension, she’s still with the company. I think I’m going to sit on this for another six months and if she is still around in the fall, I’ll mark it incorrect. Because I still wouldn’t be surprised if that happens.
- Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio he thinks Del Rio and Paige were split in the draft to send a message.
- I honestly forgot Del Rio was still with the company at the time of the draft. New TNA champion Del Rio that is.
- WWE is thinking about doing a cruiserweight division on SmackDown Live, but it will likely depend on the success of Raw‘s group.

- Jim Ross has joined Dave Meltzer in speculating Paige is possibly on her way out of WWE, and there have been whispers the 24 year old Brit has lawyers exploring her options.
- I’m not adding this as a separate rumor since it’s speculation. But I included it to show it was a hot topic at the time.
- As of right now, the plan is for the Usos to leave Backlash as SmackDown tag champs so the three other babyface teams from the tournament semi-finals can chase them.
- They did not go this way and the Usos have not held the blue belts. (0/1)

- WWE Developmental has signed the first members of a new class, according to SquaredCircleSirens. Tough Enough tryout Victoria Gonzalez, amateur wrestler Max Wessell and MMA fighter Alvin Abitz are expected to report with a new group to the Performance Center in October.

- Whether or not Paige is gone from WWE is apparently up in the air right now, with the story changing day by day, according to the Observer. They compared it to her being in the AJ Lee spot after CM Punk left but without the legal action. Meanwhile, PW Insider has said there are no plans for Paige even after her suspension comes up.
- This is when the Paige and Del Rio rumors started coming in droves. I’m going to let you in on a little secret: Sean Rueter LOVED them. He still loves talking about it so feel free to ask him about these love birds.
- Apparently there were multiple performers within WWE who were upset at the Sasha Banks fake retirement promo/angle that ran on Raw this week.
- Because it wasn’t set up well at all?
- WWE has plans to make Lana a “much larger character” on Total Divas upcoming season, notes the Observer.
- Isn’t this her first season? I’m not entirely sure what this rumor is implying.
- WWE wants to do NXT TakeOver specials in conjunction with the big four events: Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series.
