Charlotte Flair will face another challenge from the spirited Bayley on Monday’s WWE Raw. The Queen is poised to put the Raw Women’s Championship on the line as the red brand travels to Las Vegas.
That title match headlines an edition of Raw set to feature a long-awaited return, best friends rejoicing and a crowded tag team title picture.
WWE will look to continue to build toward the Fastlane pay-per-view on March 5. That means deciding who tag champs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will take on. It will involve balancing the comedic aspects of Kevin Owens’ persona with the serious tone required of his upcoming Universal Championship showdown with Goldberg.
Nia Jax has continued to march her way into title contention. The powerhouse added to her win total by blasting Bayley on last week’s Raw.
Jax certainly looks like she’s in position for a crack at the Raw Women’s Championship before long. WWE has made sure she’s amply supplied with momentum.
Drew Gulak can’t say the same thing. The submission specialist has slid down the rungs of the cruiserweight division ladder recently.
After falling to Akira Tozawa last Monday, Gulak is now on a three-match losing streak on Raw, as seen on CageMatch. As WWE tries to figure out who among the division to elevate, someone has to play the stepping stone. It’s looking like Gulak is moving into that role.
