Earlier in the day, Universal champion Seth Rollins hyped up his upcoming title defense against Rey Mysterio on this Monday’s Raw, calling Mysterio one of the greatest ever. He writes, “This is a match I’ve been looking forward to my entire life. The fact that I’m defending the Universal Title on the #RAW Season Premiere against @reymysterio in 2019 is mind boggling. Even 6 days out from #HIAC & @WWEBrayWyatt, I’ll empty the tank for one of the greatest ever.”
Later, Sasha Banks would copy the same exact tweet and use it to plug her matchup against Alexa Bliss in an obvious troll job. Rollins would later respond by saying that Banks will “under-deliver” like she always does and “continue to wonder why she’s not in the main event.” Check out the entire exchange below.
