We might see bigger commitment to the run late in games

Unless he changes his plan dramatically, we may see a big difference late in games under new Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.

In 2023, according to a recent tweet by NFL analyst Warren Sharp, as the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator, Getsy called the second most run plays in the second half of games while losing. The Raiders were on the other end of the spectrum last season under their previous regime. Las Vegas ran the ball when losing in the second half at just the 23rd highest rate.

Here is the complete list

Look, evert situation is different, but clearly Getsy is comfortable with staying committed to running the ball late in games even when his team is behind. So, we should probably expect an increase in those plays.
