The Las Vegas Raiders‘ defensive line was key to their strong finish to the season. Malcolm Koonce and Maxx Crosby combined for 22.5 sacks on the year, and they hope to continue that momentum into 2024.

During the offseason, they added Christian Wilkins to the mix to complete the group, re-signing John Jenkins and Adam Butler. This led to PFF.com ranking the group ninth in the NFL and top five in the AFC going into next year.

The defensive line came together Saturday in Las Vegas for Von Miller’s sack summit. The former defensive player of the year is one of the best pass rushers of his generation. After the offensive line started their own summit, Von Miller decided to do the same for pass rushers.

For the second year in a row, Crosby was one of the speakers, giving his tips and tricks on how he became a superstar in the NFL. He was joined by most of the defensive line, who looked to wreak havoc in the AFC.

If the defensive line can continue to grow into a dominant group, it could help lead the Raiders on a playoff run. They will need Koonce and Tyree Wilson to keep growing as defenders, and the addition of Wilkins will be beneficial. We will see in September.
