Over the weekend, former 14-time world champion Randy Orton issued a WrestleMania 36 challenge to the Rock following the Great One’s appearance on the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. Orton tried to sell the match as a showdown between two “third-generation” superstars fighting for their families legacy. Last night, the Rock responded, claiming that he is still recovering from a WrestleMania 20 beatdown given to him by Orton’s faction Evolution.
U think Bob O Sr & Chief Maivia along with our pops’ Bob Jr & the Soulman ran up and down those roads for decades taking bumps just so we can sell out WM36 so you can RKO my ass thru the earth. My body’s still recovering from that Evolution beatdown you gave me at WM20.

Orton wrote back, “My man, so I guess that’s a no.”
