After All Out ended, Cody Rhodes came out and announced that Tony Khan considers Illinois to be the “Home of All Out.” Dave Meltzer retells a conversation he had with Khan:
“I think he wants that holiday. Labor Day is Chicago and Memorial Day is Las Vegas. I don’t know if its Las Vegas one-hundred percent, but I think there’s a real good shot of Las Vegas every Memorial Day. And Labor Day, he didn’t say, but I think its going to be the Sears Centre because I pretty much said the building was too small for the demand, but his thing was like “this is our tradition.” It’s going to be Sears Centre because it was their first show even before there was an All Elite.” – Dave Meltzer
All Out was held last night at the Sears Centre in the Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The event saw Chris Jericho defeat Adam Paige to become the first AEW World Champion. The plans going forward are to hold four major PPVs each year with each event being spread at least three months apart. 2019 will feature one more pay-per-view before moving on to Double or Nothing in 2020.
